There are some upcoming programs with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

Those who are interested in gardening and flowers, there are two upcoming programs on Wednesday, June 23rd. The Bring Your Garden Indoors class will be held from 6-7pm and will teach ten adults how to start an indoor garden. The cost is $25 for Greene County Community Center members and $30 for non-members. The Mini Planters Class will be from noon-1pm for kindergarten through sixth graders. This program will teach ten participants the basics of planting. Cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.

Finally, Home State Bank is teaming up with JPRD for a tee ball league. It is for kids six and younger and games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 8th-29th from 5:30-6:15pm at the Little League Field. Register by June 21st for $20 for members and $25 for non-members, which will include a t-shirt.
