wcv-10

The WCV Softball team will be trying to turn this young season around.

The Wildcats will be back home this weekend to take on Coon Rapids-Bayard hoping to get their second win of the season. The Wildcats started the week with a huge 9-2 blowout win over Southeast Valley. WCV would then travel to Pleasantville to battle the Trojans in a double-header. Unfortunately for the Wildcats they lost both games. Losing 10-0 in the first game after the Trojans notched 2 runs in the 1st, 3rd, and 5th innings. They added 4 runs in the 4th. The Trojans carried that momentum to another win 11-4 in game two.

Now the Wildcats are looking forward to their game this weekend against Coon Rapids-Bayard. History has been on the side of the Crusaders in this series, they lead the all-time series 10-4. WCV will look to Sophomores Kinzie Alt and Kamryn Nourse to be a spark for their struggling offense.
