Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers will be playing in their first day of state golf today in Marshalltown, as the Tigers will be looking to play some great golf against some of the states best. The two event will be played at the Elmwood Country Club, as the event will be featuring ten teams and some of the best individual golfers from around the state.
The Tigers were able to advance to the state tournament after winning their district tournament last week. The other teams competing in the event include Knoxville, Oskaloosa, Winterset, Solon, Monticello, MOC – Floyd Valley, Spirit Lake, Gilbert, and Clear Lake.
Conditions are not expected to be great today, with rain in the forecast, so the Tigers might be battling the elements throughout the day.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. this morning with scheduled tee times, as the Tigers will look for good scores on the course.
