Samuel Torres, Des Moines, was traveling northbound in the 32000 block of S Ave on a ATV, when he lost control and entered the west ditch. He and his passenger were both transported to Mercy for injuries. Mr. Torres was cited for Operating An ATV On A Highway.

Eduardo G. Valencia Pool, age 40, 1426 10th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear. The original charge was Violation Of Probation.
Nicholas Mikesell, age 21, 311 SE 3rd St, Panora, was arrested for Driving While Barred. He was also cited for Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability.
Kandice Roethler, Ankeny, was traveling westbound in the 27000 block of Hwy 141 when she hit a deer. Damage was estimated at $3000 and no injuries were reported.
