Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys soccer inched one step closer to the state tournament on Monday night, as they were able to pull of the nice victory over the Glenwood Rams 3-1. The victory advances the Tigers to the substate final as they improve to 13-4 on the season. Glenwood closes the season out at 9-8.
Jacob Yanacheak was able to put together a monster night for the Tigers, tallying two goals in the victory to help the Tigers really pace themselves offensively. The Tigers were able to break through twice in the first half with a pair of goals and then seal the deal in the second half with the third and final goal. ADM was guided by excellent defense as well in their second shutout of the season.
ADM will be advancing to the championship game against Creston on Wednesday in Adel, with the match to begin at 6:30, as the Tigers will be looking to return to the state tournament.
