WCV started the 2021 season with a bang Monday. They beat Glidden-Ralston 12-2.

The Wildcats benefited from explosive 3rd and 4th innings, scoring four and five runs respectively. WCV also benefited from a solid performance from Pitcher Owen Harwood. In the four innings he pitched he had an ERA of 1.7. He also had eight strikeouts.

Offensively the Wildcats were lead by Dalton Harwood. He had one hit, two RBIs, and a batting average of 0.333%. As a whole the team had six RBIs.

The Wildcats are back in action today. They’ll be at home taking on Ogden at 5:30PM.
