ADM Tigers girls golf participated in their 3A-Region-2 tournament on Monday in Atlantic, and the Tigers were able to qualify for the state tournament in Adel after finishing runner up in the twelve team event. ADM was able to grab a team score of 381, which was 10 strokes behind the winner in Creston.

The Tigers were able to get some solid numbers on a tough course, as juniors Emma Mellancamp and Monica Thomas were both able to get a 92, senior Anna West a 96, and senior Liv Rickert able to grab a 101. ADM was able to do a great job of minimizing mistakes throughout the round, and also got some great shots and key putts to do in as well.

The state tournament will be right in the backyard of the Tigers at the River Valley Golf Course in Adel. The two day event will be happening on June 1-2, as both days will have 18 hole rounds to determine a team and individual champion. The Tigers will be focused on putting together a big state round, after a massive performance on Monday to qualify for the state tournament.
