The Crossroads Church in Perry held an event this weekend to celebrate the end of the building renovation.

Crossroads Church Pastor Rick Gates says the process for the building renovation occurred last year in July. Gates says there were many things done to the building including bathrooms, among other projects completed by various different contractors working together.

“We appreciated every single one of the contractors that helped us here and it was really neat to watch them utilize the skill and the ability that they have to help us finish this building.”

Gates tells Raccoon Valley Radio that while the renovation project is completed, the work continues.

“It feels good that the bulk of the work is over but the reason we built the building was so that we could have a good, solid base of operations from which to minister to children and families and to equip the people of the church to share the good news about Jesus with other people. That’s the work we are ready for now.”

Gates says he is thankful for all those involved in the renovation of the building.
