The 2021 Iowa High School Co-Ed State Track and Field Meet begins tomorrow and Greene County and Paton-Churdan will be well represented.
Greene County High School will send eight events for boys and six for girls. The boy events include shuttle hurdle relay, 4×200 and 4×400 meter relays, along with long jump, 110 meter high hurdles, high jump, discus, and 400 meter low hurdles. The girl events include discus, long jump, shot put, 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays, and the 800 meter sprint medley relay.
Paton-Churdan has one lone qualifier competing in two events. Danielle Hoyle will throw discus and shot put.
The state track meet will take place at Drake Stadium in Des Moines and Raccoon Valley Radio will cover these events during the three-days of competition from Thursday through Saturday. See the full list below of the Greene County qualifiers.
