A Jefferson woman has been arrested in connection to a large drug network in Greene County.
According to court documents, an investigation began with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office on September 6, 2020. Following a traffic stop by the deputy that resulted in the arrest of Michael Eastment on drug-related charges, the deputy then obtained a search warrant which was used to gain access to Eastman’s Facebook Instant Messenger account.
Eastman’s messenger contained information of who he purchased the drugs from and it had several conversations with Audrie Lawrence of Jefferson. From August 30, 2020 to September 8, 2020, Eastman and Lawrence talked about purchasing and selling marijuana. Another search warrant was executed on February 15, 2021 for Lawrence’s Facebook Instant Messenger. It was discovered that from August 1, 2020 to this past January, there were over 4,500 messages containing information about the use, purchase, and sale of controlled substances, along with meeting locations and price amounts.
Several interviews were conducted with those that were found to be involved in a larger drug network and a hierarchy was found, including James Moreland being at the top, next was Tanisha Dillinger, Ryan Murphy, Martin Tolsdrof and Sean Shell. The next level was Jasmine Fluker, Whitney Campbell, Jeffery Specht and Lawrence. The lowest level involved several others, including Ryan Patterson.
Two more search warrants were executed at residences in Jefferson, including the 200 block of North Locust Street and the 200 block of North Maple Street on March 16th. Several drug-related items were recovered and Shell was arrested and charged with two Class B Felonies for ongoing criminal conduct – influence enterprise and controlled substance violation, a Class D Felony for a controlled substance violation, an aggravated misdemeanor for keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation and a serious misdemeanor for unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
Then on March 24th, the deputy received a Facebook message from Dillinger containing the same information that was recovered from Lawrence’s Facebook account. It was discovered that Dillinger had been involved in the drug network for several years. She was arrested Monday night and charged with two Class B Felonies for ongoing criminal conduct – influence enterprise and a controlled substance violation. She was booked and remains in the Greene County Jail under a $25,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
