The Greene County High School Music Department is hosting its final event of the year.

The Awards Concert will be held on Monday, May 10th at 7:30pm at the high school auditorium. Band Director Wes Anderson says the concert will begin with the concert band performing two selections from Brian Balmages, including “Rippling Watercolors” and “Moscow, 1941,” along with “Emblem of Unity” by J.J. Richards. Choir Director David Heupel says next will be the Madrigal choir performing their contest song, followed by the concert choir singing “The Seal Lullaby,” “Zigeunerleben,” and “Wellerman.” 

Both band and choir will recognize their respective award winners. The free event will be held in person or live streamed. If attending in person, you are encouraged to socially distance and only have to wear a mask if social distancing can’t happen.
