A statewide communications organization recently announced a Jefferson resident as its new board member.
Jefferson Telecom General Manager Jamie Daubendiek was elected to serve a three-year term on the Iowa Communications Alliance Board of Directors. The ICA is an advocate, catalyst, educator and resource that supports Iowa’s 39 rural communication providers. Daubendiek says of receiving the board designation that he’s honored to represent the interests of Iowa’s independent telecommunication providers. He believes Jefferson Telecom and its peers in the industry are heavily invested in their communications and with fiber optics and the fastest broadband speeds available in their service area.
Daubendiek was elected by his peers in the independent communications industry to serve on the ICA Board.
