The West Central Valley Girls Track team took part in the Dave Tapps Invitational in Van Meter.

The Wildcats competed against eight other schools in the meet. West Central Valley had a couple girls finish in the Top 5 of their events. Sophomore Tasha Williams had another top tier performance. She finished third in the 100M dash with the time of  13.09. She also finished fifth in the Long Jump. Freshman Chasey Rowan clocked in a time of 5:33.99 to finish fourth in the 1500M dash. Senior Grace Hammond led the throwers finishing fifth in the Shot Put and first in the Discus.

The Girls next meet will be Tuesday May 4th. It’ll be a West Central Activities Conference meet. Van Meter will host the meet and it will take place at 4PM.
