Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls soccer competed on Thursday night with the girls able to grab an exciting victory in double-overtime 2-1 to improve to 7-2.

The girls were in a tough challenge on the night, but were able to get some gritty play down the stretch that concluded with an Abby Gonzalez goal to get a crucial victory. Both the Tigers and Huskies traded goals during the first half, as ADM got a key score out of Helen Kirk to help keep pace. The victory is a major one of the Tigers, who came in ranked 8th in 2A.

The victory for the girls was the 9th straight since 2011, with the matchup being the 5th time in the last six tries that the matchup has come down to one goal.

The girls will be competing will not have another meet until Monday when they travel to Raccoon River Conference foe Bondurant-Farrar.
