Greene County went to Story City Thursday for the Roland-Story Norsemen Relays, a boys’ only track and field meet. Coach Chad Morton’s team finished seventh among eight teams. The Rams ran “light” at Story City after winning the team title at Woodward-Granger on Tuesday.
The only first place event for the Rams was the 4 x 200 meter relay in 1:34.93 with Daniel Rivera, Jaxon Warnke, Richard Daugherty, and Bryce Stalder.
R-S won with 156.5 points, followed by South Hamilton (Jewell) 102, Aplington-Parkersburg 100.5, South Tama County 97, Ogden 71, Ballard (Huxley) 60, Greene County 58, and 52 for Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.
The Greene County teams go to Alleman and North Polk High School on Monday, May 3.
