The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved an operating transfer at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

The transfer is from the general basic fund to the capital fund in the amount of $5 million. Also, the Board approved the support of moving forward with a contract to place an internet antenna on the courthouse bell tower or other county owned communications towers and will further discuss the item at future Board meetings. 

Finally, the Board approved awarding a bid and authorizing the county engineer to sign R16 project documents, approved the amended total maximum property tax dollars for general and rural county services and set a time and date for a public hearing on the fiscal year 2022 county budget for 9:30 a.m. May 18th.
