The Adel City Council set a public hearing date for the Island Park Lease agreement and operating proposal at their regular meeting Monday.

The public hearing date is set for 6 p.m. May 11th. Also, the Council approved amending the zoning ordinance of the City of Adel by rezoning 16.10 acres from agriculture to a multi-family district and waived the second and third readings, approved a professional consulting services agreement for an intersection traffic study.

Finally, the Council approved the recommendation from the historic preservation commission to replace the museum roof and gutter repairs, approved the engagement agreement for open records litigation and set a public hearing date of 6 p.m. May 11th to convey real property.
