
The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will consider for approval 2021 fiscal year budget amendments for the County Engineer, Sheriff and law enforcement center bond. Additionally, the Board will consider for approval the Iowa Department of Transportation budget for the Secondary Roads Department, along with the five year construction plan, a road use agreement with NextEra Energy, a payroll change notice for the sheriff’s office, purchasing a floor scrubber for the courthouse, and a resolution to establish a county facilities construction fund.
They will also consider setting a public hearing date for a general obligation refunding loan agreement not to exceed $8,935,000 and signing closing documents for a general obligation county building improvements of $525,000. Finally, the Board will appoint an individual to the county veteran’s affairs commission, and hear updates from County Engineer Josh Sebern and Public Health Director Jotham Arber.
