As the Perry Chamber of Commerce continues to plan fan-favorite events, the hopes are for them to look the same as they have in previous years.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says one of those events is Friday Fest, which is still a go. While plans are being finalized, Pasutti says the City of Perry has already given the Chamber the ability to use the Bandshell at Pattee Park.
“We have set our dates for the first Friday in June and the first Friday in August for Friday Fest. We have set our musicians and we are looking forward to finalizing the extra details. So, right now we know that we are having it, we know that there is going to be music. As far as extra activities that we’ve done in the past like bounce houses, and face painting and all those things we still have a little work to do.”
Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio an important factor in determining some of the activities is figuring out the comfort level for those who may be attending while the coronavirus pandemic is still ongoing and what will make the most sense.
Pasutti notes the Chamber will continue to plan for events, while keeping the ever changing pandemic in mind.
