Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls soccer faced off against the Cubs against Nevada on Friday night, with the girls getting a positive result winning 4-0, while the boys couldn’t beat a challenging Cubs team losing 3-1.

On the girls side, they were able to put up a really solid showing putting up two goals in both the first and the second halves, pacing themselves to a nice victory to improve to 5-2 on the season. On the boys side, DCG falls to 7-3 on the season while Nevada improves to 7-1. The Mustangs were able to get nice chances throughout the evening but the Cubs were able to keep them at bay, and then ice the game in the second half.

Both DCG teams will be back next week, as the Mustangs look to finish out the month of April strongly.
