Those that participated in the first round of COVID-19 vaccines at the Greene County Public Health mass clinic are reminded that their second dose is happening tomorrow.

The second dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered from 12:30-6:30pm at Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson tomorrow. The first doses were administered three weeks ago on March 31st. Greene County Public Health Director Becky Wolf says the 1,170 people that took the first dose from the mass clinic need to remember to keep their appointment for tomorrow so they can avoid wasting the booster vaccine.

Wolf reminds everyone that any adult is now eligible to receive a vaccine and that all vaccine providers in the County now have access to one of the approved vaccines. As of Monday, Greene County was at 30-percent of the population fully vaccinated, and of that 73-percent who are 65 and older have been fully vaccinated.
