April 16

Roger Borcherding, age 60, 440 NW 3rd St, Earlham, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence 1st Offense.  He was also cited for Failure To Obey Stop Sign, Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance, and Leaving Scene Of Accident.

Austin Wells, Adel, was traveling in the 36000 of Hwy 169, when he hit a deer.  There were no injuries reported and damage was estimated at $7500.

Reyes Leyva-Nunez, Redfield, was traveling westbound at 360th st and N Ave, when he was struck from behind by a vehicle that continued on and left the scene.  Mr. Leyva-Nunez vehicle ended up in the south ditch with $7500 estimated damage.  The other driver, Roger Borcherding, Earlham, was stopped and detained for further investigation.  Damage to Mr. Borcherding’s vehicle was estimated at $5000.  No injuries were reported.

Austin M. Ballard, age 22, 4012 64th St, Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Burglary 3rd Degree and Possession Of Controlled Substance – 2nd Offense.

April 17

Charles A. Kline, age 40, 611 Balsam St, Kingsford, MI, was arrested for Controlled Substance Violation.

David Burkett, age 54, 25470 260th St, Dallas Center, was arrested for Child Endangerment and Assault Wile Displaying A Dangerous Weapon.

April 18

Anthony Booth, age 29, 1819 6th Street, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.
