West Central Valley came just one game short of winning the Atlantic Tournament. The Wildcats (4-2) started Saturday with another dominating win 6-0 over Logan-Magnolia.

West Central Valley was the more aggressive team, the Wildcats finished with 17 shots (10 SOG). Goalie Nate Gerling had another great performance, this was his fourth shutout of the season.

The Wildcats advanced to the Championship against Underwood. West Central Valley lost this one in a shootout. It was a hard fought loss. Senior Collin Mumford had 7 shots on goal. Despite that effort, Underwood’s defense only allowed one goal to go through.

West Central Valley has to put that behind them as they have another game today. They’ll be taking on Grand View Christian at 5PM.
