For those in Panora and surrounding communities who need to get rid of old documents in a secure manner, the chance to do so is today. 

The free shredding event is at the Panora Public Library. A secure shredding truck will be parked behind the library from 9:30-11:30 a.m. today. The event is free and open to anyone in the public. 

Organizers ask that you stay in your vehicle as someone will be there to assist you. Things open for shredding include old tax documents, papers and credit or debit cards.
