The Adel City Council approved a request for proposal for a lease and operating agreement for campground services at Island Park at their regular meeting Tuesday.

The Council approved a proposal and will continue to work moving forward outlining what the agreement will look like. Also, the Council approved a contract amendment with McClure Engineering for the phase 2 water project.

Finally, the Council approved setting the time and date of 6 p.m. April 26th for the public hearing to rezone 16 acres immediately south of Southbridge PUD from existing agriculture district to a multi-family district for a potential senior and affordable apartment development.
