Guthrie County board of Supervisors met Tuesday.

The meeting started with updates from County Conservation Director Brad Halterman. He mentioned that the Historical Village would reopen on May 1st and because of the pandemic, visitors will be limited to one group or family at a time. Halterman also talked about a week long 

project that will be going through parts of Carroll and Guthrie country. It starts in Coon Rapids, goes through Spring Broke and ends in Van Meter. 

County Attorney Brenna Bird gave an update. She stated that the number of new cases have gone up in the last couple of months with 68 in January, 75 in February, 54 in March, and 25 so far in April.

The Board of Supervisors also approved the fiscal year 2022 Iowa Department of Transportation budget and five year plan.
