The Guthrie County Cattlemen’s Association is hosting its annual banquet this Saturday, and Director Darrin Crawley encourages local residents to attend.

Crawley says the event will feature live music, a headgate raffle, door prizes and a social hour.

Tickets can be purchased for $20 at the door of the event, which will be held at the Lake Panorama National Conference Center beginning at 5:30 Saturday evening.

Crawley says much of the monies raised at the Association’s annual banquet will be donated out to different entities in the local area.

“We take the money and give scholarships away, we help the (local) 4-H kids out.  If some families need some help around like for medical issues or something and they ask for donations, we donate.  And then a lot of our time and a lot of our money goes to the Guthrie County Fair and helping the youth out of Guthrie County.”
