Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls golf played in their first event of the season this last Monday, as the Tigers were unable to defeat the Gilbert Tigers falling 189-214, though the Tigers showed some decent scores.

It was only a nine only event, with the activities being played at River Valley Golf Course in Adel. Senior Liv Rickert was able to have the lowest score of the day for the Tigers, as he put up a 50 on her scorecard. Junior Monica Thomas was able to get a score of 52, junior Emma Mellencamp was able to put up a score of 56, and sophomore Tess Kenny was able to put up a 60.

For ADM, these are improved initial scores than the average scores the Tigers were able to put up in 2019, and they hope that hopefully can put up even better and better scores as the season progresses.

The Tigers will have another event next Monday when they travel to Pleasantville to participate in a golf tournament.
