The U.S. Forest Service, Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Trees Forever are teaming up to provide free seedlings.

The towns in Guthrie County eligible to receive up to 200 free seedlings from the State Forest Nursery this spring include, Bagley, Bayard, Casey, Guthrie Center, Jamaica, Menlo, Stuart, Yale and Coon Rapids and the seedlings can be planted on either private or public lands within city limits.
