As warmer weather continues to approach, more and more activities will bring people outdoors including with the Dallas County Conservation Board (DCCB).
The DCCB wants people to know that garlic mustard begins popping up in the early spring and it’s important to pull it before it goes to seed in early summer. With this the DCCB will come and meet individuals or family groups to identify an area that needs to be cleared of the invasive species.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the event but time and dates are weather specific and depend on staff availability and the vegetation itself. The DCCB encourages people to keep an eye on the Facebook page, newsletters and their website for more information.
