For those who may be interested in starting their own at-home garden, Dallas County ISU Extension will be hosting a sale in May. 

Running from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 1st at the Dallas County Fairgrounds, the Dallas County Master Gardeners will be hosting a plant sale. The items include house plants, vegetables, perennials and plant books. Only cash or checks will be accepted as payment. 

All of the proceeds from the plant sale will go to the construction of the new demonstration garden which will be located on the Dallas County Fairgrounds. For more information on the event you can go here.
