The Panora Lions Club recently received a state grant for an upcoming project from the Diamond Vogel and Keep Iowa Beautiful grant for the Paint Iowa Beautiful program.
The Lions Club was a recipient of the Keep Iowa Beautiful and Diamond Vogel grant. The program provides free paint for a variety of public service projects throughout the state. Also, Governor Kim Reynolds will be signing a proclamation designating April as Keep Iowa Beautiful month. The Panora Lions Club will use the paint for gable ends and fascia trim boards.
Throughout the 18-year partnership between Diamond Vogel and Keep Iowa Beautiful, Diamond Vogel has awarded more than 11,860 gallons of paint for 1,132 community projects throughout Iowa.
