The Panora City Council approved a Region 12 Council of Governments submittal of a grant application on behalf of the City of Panora at their regular meeting Monday. 

The grant application deals with the HOME down-payment assistance which would award up to four projects, and the City would commit to matching funds in the amount of $4,150 per project. 

Also, the Council held a discussion and had an update on the housing initiative, set a time and date for the public hearing for proposed changes to permitted uses for the Light Industrial District which will be held during the next Council meeting, and approved interfund transfers for the fiscal year 2021 budget.
