With Severe Weather Awareness Week happening next week, Guthrie County ISU Extension is offering a class to help prepare vital documents in times of emergency.

Extension Program Coordinator Krista Downing says the “Grab and Go Emergency Binder” class will take place Wednesday, March 23rd at 5:30pm at the Extension office in Guthrie Center. She explains some of the details of the class.

“Natural disasters are a reminder of life’s uncertainty. What would you grab with only minutes to escape? Learn to make a grab and go financial record case and improve your successes to rebound after a disaster.”

The cost to participate is $5 per person and you will receive materials to start putting together your binder. Pre-registration is appreciated by contacting the Extension office at 641-747-2276.
