Much like the other spring sports in Iowa, Golf missed their 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this year the West Central Valley Boys Golf team looks to play this year. The boys team will be filled with new talent this season. Coach Dave Doley expects to have up to 10 golfers on the team this year. The Wildcats will be led by seniors Grant Caltrider, Brett Hazen, and Bodhi Mains.

The boys have started practice for the season, but the season won’t start until April 1. The year will tee off with a Triangular in Osecola. The following Monday, April 5 they’ll be in Pleasantville for a meet. Another road meet on April 8 in Atlantic. Then the first home meet of the year will be Monday April 12.
