Several soccer programs are starting up soon with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

The U6 Soccer program will be on Mondays from April 5th-May 3rd from 5:30-6:30pm at Kelso Park. This is an introductory program where participants will learn the basics of soccer and shin guards are mandatory. Cost to participate is $20 for community center members and $25 for non-members. Deadline to sign up is April 2nd. 

The U8 Soccer program will be from April 10th-May 1st with games to be played on Saturdays at Kelso Park in Jefferson and Ogden. Cost to participate is $35 for rec center members and $40 for non-members. Additional fees include $15 for a youth jersey, $17 for adult jerseys and $5 for socks. Practices will be scheduled by the coaches. Deadline to sign up is March 21st.

The U10, U12 and U15 Soccer programs will have games start April 24th and those will be played in Fort Dodge. Parents must also sign up with the Fort Dodge Soccer Association website and upload their child’s photo. The Greene County registration will be from March 17th-31st. The fee to participate is $40 for rec center members and $45 for non-members. Additional fees include $15 for jerseys, $5 for shorts and $5 for socks.
