A familiar Easter-themed event is returning this year with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

The Easter Egg Hunt for youth will be happening next weekend. The event was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. The event is slated for Saturday, March 27th at 4pm at the Greene County Community Center. Toddlers through third graders are invited to the free egg hunt, which is sponsored by the Jefferson Kiwanis Club.

Easter eggs will be filled with candy and other prizes donated by local businesses and organizations. Registration will take place at 3:30pm and kids will be separated into age groups around the community center. Every child is guaranteed to receive at least one egg. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required.
