Much like the boys soccer team, the girls are ready to hit the field for the 2021 season. After missing the 2020 season, the Wildcats will be leaning on a team loaded with seniors. The team is only returning two non-seniors (juniors Abigail Balsmeier and Halley Joel). West Central Valley will look to continue the success of their 2019 season.
The Wildcats led a 9-6 campaign. They had two separate three game win streaks that season. Entering his 16th year, Coach Michael Krawczyk will need to find production from new places. His two leading scores from 2019, Abigail Speichinger (12 goals) and Meredith Marks (15) have graduated. However, as mentioned before this is a veteran team with plenty of senior leadership.
The Wildcats start their season on the road to take on Greene County April 5. They’ll have their first home game of the season the next (April 6) against AHSTW.
