The Greene County School Board will meet twice tomorrow night.

The work session will begin at 5:15pm. The Board will hear the 2021-2022 school year budget. 

The regular meeting will then start at 6:30pm. The meeting will start with a public hearing for next year’s school calendar, followed by the Board considering approving the calendar. The Board will then discuss its COVID-19 mitigation efforts. 

The Board will then consider approving a fertilizer bid, the high school agriculture department’s greenhouse project, ratifying the 2021-22 negotiated agreement with the Greene County Education Association, along with the administrative classified staff wages and salary recommendations. Next, the Board will consider approving the 2021-22 list of contracts for certified employees, coaches, extra duties and days, classified staff and administration. 

The Board will also consider approving the first reading for board policy revisions, including classified staff vacations, holidays and personal leave, along with fundraisers, appropriate use of public funds and community use of school facilities. The Board will set a public hearing for the 2021-22 certified budget and a 2020-21 certified budget amendment. They will also consider approving fundraiser requests, a leave of absence request and the 2019-2020 audit report. The meeting will end in a superintendent evaluation.
