An assisted and nursing home facility in Perry has introduced a new program to help build a highly trained and dedicated workforce. 

Perry Lutheran Homes announced earlier this year the implementation of the StepUp Career Advancement Program which will train and develop staff, offer career advancement paths that include higher education, provide competitive pay and benefits among other things. 

The program allows for employees of Perry Lutheran Homes working in any career field to earn certifications and degrees through promotion, high education and tuition reimbursement. They have also partnered with Des Moines Area Community College as the educational institution for the career advancement program.
