The Greene County High School Student Council is celebrating National Women’s History Month in March.
Student Council member Alexa Peters explains what they are asking fellow students to do during this month.
“You could write about a woman in your life that has inspired you or a woman you’ve heard about in the past that has inspired you. (We ask that) you write a few sentences about them and we could just put it on the wall to display it.”
Peters adds the female figure does not have to be a famous individual, it can be a family member or a friend. Submissions can be sent to Advisor Deb Marquardt.
