The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will be having its annual sale in April. 

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 10th at 7803 Ave, in Omaha the DNR will be selling items such as firearms, bows, gun barrels, scopes and other assorted equipment which will be sold as is with no guarantee or warranty, and payment is due the day of the auction. 

Due to the pandemic, the auction will occur both in-person and online. There will be a Friday preview and pre-registration will take place from 3-5 p.m. April 9th. All firearm purchases will be conducted with current state, federal, and local laws. 

A valid driver’s license or a state issued photo ID is required for all firearm purchases and pickup of the firearms will be conducted one hour after the final item is sold. Also, pickup can be scheduled by appointment the week following the auction and out of state shipping can be arranged at the buyer’s expense.
