A Russell man is in jail after an alleged incident that occurred Saturday. 

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Brandon Nicolas Carroll, of Russell was arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for disarming a peace officer, along with misdemeanors for fourth-degree criminal mischief, assault or use or display of a weapon, and reckless driving and failure to maintain control. 

Carroll is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
