A Windsor Heights woman was injured in a single-vehicle incident Thursday morning in Guthrie County.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 62-year old Kristie Lynn Sheeder lost control of her 2008 Ford Edge as she was heading north on 190th street. Her vehicle went into the north ditch, struck a utility pole and caused it to roll. The report shows Sheeder was wearing her seat belt at the time of the incident and had to be extracted from the vehicle and transported by a relative to Guthrie County Hospital with possible injuries.

The vehicle suffered severe damage and is considered to be a total loss. There was $2,500 in damage to the utility pole. 

No citations were issued for the incident.

The Guthrie Center Fire Department and Panora Ambulance assisted on the scene.
