The Perry City Council approved an urban renewal loan application at their regular meeting Tuesday to assist in the repair of the roof of a building that was damaged during the derecho.
The funding for the urban renewal loan application totals $23,000 and will come out of the City’s urban renewal revolving fund.
Also, the Council held a public hearing in regards to the City of Perry’s proposed maximum property tax dollars for fiscal year 2022 and then approved the proposed maximum property tax dollars for fiscal year 2022, approved the notice and intent to dispose of abandoned and unused and outdated property regarding holding a public hearing on March 1st at 6 p.m. This is in regards to unclaimed bicycles, found items and confiscated items from the Perry Police Department and being held by the City of Perry.
Finally, the Council approved Parks and Recreation advisory board reappointments.
