The Meadow View Elementary School in Adel is continuing to be on track to open next school year.

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Superintendent Greg Dufoe says construction companies have lost a few days but overall they still feel the project will be completed by July 25th. 

“So, we still feel very optimistic that we will open that building on time and that’s really exciting. We feel like the construction progress is still really good. This cold weather this week doesn’t help but they have got some margin built into the overall schedule that will allow us to catch back up.”

Also, at the most recent School Board meeting the Board approved the hiring of additional staff which included a guidance counselor for Meadow View Elementary.
