A Guthrie Center man faces multiple charges following an investigation by the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a press release by the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a call of a domestic incident at Firefly Creek Ranch on Wednesday. During the investigation, deputies arrested 43-year-old Robert James Fuller and charged him with a misdemeanor for his first offense for domestic abuse assault. Deputies also saw Fuller conducting drug activities inside the apartment.
Authorities executed a search warrant and recovered about 1.5-ounces of methamphetamine, along with marijuana, evidence of selling/dealing drugs, and three firearms.
Fuller was additionally charged with possession with intent to deliver greater than five grams of methamphetamine, a Class B Felony; drug tax stamp violation, a Class D Felony; as well as misdemeanor charges for possession of marijuana, keeping a premises for controlled substance usage and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Panora Police and Fire departments, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources – Law Enforcement Division and the Guthrie County K9 Unit assisted with the investigation. Sheriff Marty Arganbright says the seizure of methamphetamine and firearms is a continuing commitment from his office to keep Guthrie County safe.
