West Central Valley Wrestling competed in the IHSAA Sectional 13 tournament at Riverside High School in Oakland on Saturday.

Two Wildcat wrestlers will head to the District tournament next week.

At 145 pounds, Blaise Beane earned a second place finish, defeated St. Albert Catholic’s Andrew Crawley by fall in 2:29, Underwood’s Kadyn Fleek by fall in 4:55 and AHSTW’s Isaac Stamp in the 2nd place match by fall in 1:04 to advance to the District Tournament.

At 152 pounds, Kaedon Lindsay defeated AHSTW’s Aidan Martin by a 6-1 decision and St. Albert Catholic’s Camren Mardensen by major decision 12-3. Lindsay will also advance to the district tournament.

West Sackett, Wesley Ganoe, Austin Shelley and Ayden Phippen finished in fourth place in their respective brackets.

Cameron McNulty, Wyatt Clemenson and Bodhi Mains each finished in fifth.

Jathan Edgington and Jordan Bohall each placed sixth.

The District 7 Tournament will be held February 13 at Underwood.
