The Earlham Cardinals swept a home girl/boy doubleheader against West Central Valley on Friday.
The Lady Wildcats fell 39-36 in the opener. West Central Valley led 12-9 after the first quarter, but the Cardinals rallied back to take a one-point lead at halftime. Madi Jaeger led the way with 24 points. Bella Munoz scored 8 points. Cathy Marlow and Kinzie Alt each collected two points. The girls’ team fell to 9-11 on the regular season.
The boys lost the follow-up game 84-27. Statistics were unavailable from the contest. West Central Valley fell to 3-17 with the loss.
Next up, the teams will host in-county rival Panorama Tuesday.
