The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The Council will hold two public hearings, including the interim loan and disbursement agreement with Iowa Finance Authority for the wastewater treatment plant upgrades, the proposed property tax levy for the 2022 fiscal year budget, and consider approving both resolutions. Additionally, the Council will consider for approval a resolution for acceptance of funds as a gift to clean-up dilapidated residential properties, adopting the City’s comprehensive plan, temporarily closing an alley in block 18 of the original town of Jefferson and a resolution for an alley lease with Doc’s Stadium.
Finally, the Council will set a public hearing for a bond issuance relating to the Greene County Animal Facility project and conduct the 2022 fiscal year budget workshop.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
